Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) Ground Beef 
- 8-10 Flour Tortillas (depending on the size of the dish) 
- 2 cups (200g) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded 
- 1 cup (100g) Cheddar Cheese, shredded 
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning 
- 1 cup (240ml) Salsa 
- ½ cup (120g) Sour Cream (optional) 
- Fresh Cilantro (for garnish) 
- Diced Tomatoes (for garnish) 
- Sliced Green Onions (for garnish) 
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 
- Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Let simmer until the mixture thickens. 
- Prepare the Baking Dish: In a large baking dish, layer the bottom with flour tortillas. Add a layer of the seasoned ground beef mixture, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. 
- Repeat Layers: Add another layer of tortillas, then beef, cheese, and salsa. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top. 
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. 
- Rest and Serve: Allow the lasagna to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes, and sliced green onions. Serve with sour cream on the side.

- Meal Prep Tip: You can assemble the Taco Lasagna a day ahead and refrigerate it until you’re ready to bake. 
- Freezing: Freeze assembled but unbaked Taco Lasagna for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator and bake as directed.
